Quick Start
Guide your IceBreaker ship to the goal before you run out of fuel and are frozen in place.
There are many routes to the goal. Choose the course that uses the least amount of fuel.
Your IceBreaker ship can crush any ice in its path. However, thicker ice requires more fuel to break through it.
On the game map white squares are the thickest ice. Blue squares are the open ocean.
The map will change temperature during every move. Cold areas will freeze the surrounding water.
Game Guide
The map shows the thickness of the ice along all possible routes to the goal. Choose a route over thinner ice to conserve fuel.
Hightlight a move and check the fuel bar to get a hint of how much fuel a single move will use.
Notice the hint in the fuel bar.
Click to make a move. The ice thickness of the map changes during every move. Eventually, the entire map will freeze over.
Schedule a longer route all at once. Click to add the highlighted path to your route.
Your current route is shown in green. Click on the scheduled route to cancel the rest of the path. The map is always changing and it is common to notice a better route once you are underway.
